Agnes M. Pokrandt

Agnes Pokrandt has over 25 years experience in the training and development arena as a director, facilitator, designer and internal consultant with management experience in manufacturing, construction, service, sales and retail.  She has created, implemented and managed competency-based training programs globally; functioned as an internal consultant on issues of organizational change, performance improvement, and competency-based performance development.  She has managed and coached a cadre of adjunct trainers without a direct reporting relationship; trained and educated adults throughout the U.S., Canada, Middle East, Europe and Asia and served in leadership positions for not-for-profit organizations. Additionally, she has the background and experience of working within major Fortune 500 corporations and understands the processes, politics and procedures that move the selling/buying process forward.  She has demonstrated the ability to develop interest and commitment, throughout organizations to attain corporate goals.

Agnes joined Russell, Montgomery & Associates as a Career Management Consultant in 2004. She has served our clients primarily in two areas; career transition support to individual candidates and group workshops for non-exempt and hourly employees as well as employee training seminars on a variety of topics such as those listed above.

Agnes has served as president of the Memphis chapter of the American Society of Training & Development, president of Network of Memphis and president of the YWCA of Greater Memphis.  She currently serves in advisory capacities of these organizations.  She is on the Board of Directors for WONDERS, The International Cultural Series.

Agnes earned a M.Ed. from Bowling Green University and taught in public, private and post-secondary proprietary institutions in the U.S. and the Middle East. Her Bachelor degree is in Business Administration, also from Bowling Green University in Ohio.
