Agnes M. Pokrandt

Agnes is a Career Management Consultant with the East Tennessee Region of OI Partners / Russell Montgomery & Assoicates (RMA).

She has over 30 years experience in the training and development arena as a director, facilitator, curriculum designer and internal consultant with budgetary management experience in manufacturing, construction, service, sales, and retail. She has created, implemented and managed competency-based training programs globally; functioned as an internal consultant on issues of organizational change, performance improvement, and competency-based performance development. She has trained and educated adults throughout the U.S., Canada, Middle East, Europe and Asia. Additionally, she has the background and experience of working within major Fortune 500 corporations and understands the processes, politics and procedures that move the selling/buying process forward.

Agnes has served our clients primarily in two areas; career transition support to individual candidates and group workshops for non-exempt and hourly employees as well as employee training seminars on a variety of topics such as those listed above.

Agnes is currently on the Board of Directors for Agricenter International. Additionally, she volunteers for the Memphis Botanic Garden's "Live at the Garden" concert series. Her leadership roles included serving as president of the Memphis Chapter of the American Society of Training & Development, Network of Memphis, and The YWCA of Greater Memphis. She currently serves in advisory capacities to these organizations. She served on the Board of Directors for WONDERS, The International Cultural Series for 5 years.

Agnes earned a M.Ed. from Bowling Green University in Ohio and taught in public, private and post-secondary institutions in the U.S. and the Middle East. Her instructional background includes courses in marketing, management, business education, communication, accounting and math. She has served on several college accredition teams throughout the south and southeast, including military bases and proprietary schools. Her Bachelor degree is in Business Administration.
