Bill Catlette
Bill Catlette is a human resources consultant and executive coach with 26 years' experience helping build highly successful organizations. He is the co-author of “Contented Cows Give Better Milk: The Plain Truth About Employee Relations and Your Bottom Line”, a book that is widely used as a reference document in corporate leadership development and in the classrooms of several prominent universities.
Bill has worked in a variety of Human Resource management and executive capacities with some well known and highly regarded service distribution firms. His corporate experience includes Genuine Parts Company, the Atlanta-based distribution arm of NAPA; Automatic Data Processing, where he served as the company's Corporate Manager of Employee Relations; and Federal Express Corporation; where, as a Managing Director, he and his staff were responsible for developing many of the Human Resource programs which enabled that company to become recognized as one of the nation's 5 Best Managed Companies (Forbes), one of the 100 Best Companies in America to Work For, and, without question, one of the true "world class" service organizations.
Upon leaving Federal Express in 1989, Bill founded The Westar Group, a human resources consulting firm which concentrates primarily on the areas of Employee Relations, Teamwork, Leadership Development, and Business Strategy. With more than 5,000 hours addressing business leadership groups, Bill is an accomplished speaker and seminar leader.
Bill is a certified professional presenter of “The Coaching Skills Workshop” and has presented in excess of 200 such seminars around the world to approximately 3,600 managers of corporate clients of the Westar Group such as Chevron USA, Pfizer,
Abbott Labs, Bombardier and IKON Office Solutions.
During 2003, he joined the Career Management Consulting Firm of Russell Montgomery & Associates as an Executive Coach and Senior Management Consultant. In addition to his role as an Executive Coach, Bill has led Leadership Development programs for executive and managerial teams within our RMA clients. He has also introduced and provided our capability to conduct company-wide employee / culture surveys.
A native of West Virginia, Bill received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida.
