Charles B. Ragland
Charlie Ragland is a lecturer at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga College of Business in Marketing, Management and Entrepreneurship. He teaches Strategic Management, New Venture Creation, Small Business Entrepreneurship (MBA), International Management (MBA), Business-To-Business Marketing, Selling and Sales Management, and Business Communications.
He founded a marketing research firm in 2000. The main focus was primary market research and strategy development. His clients range from global multi-national corporations to emerging companies, including GE Plastics, BASF, Saint-Gobain, Veritex America, Owens-Corning, Avery Dennison, Polymer Group, MicronTN, Microwave Synergy, and Dale Buchanan & Associates.
Charlie has held sales, marketing business management, and general management roles with Owens-Corning, GE Plastics, BF Goodrich-Geon Vinyl Division, AlliedSignal Plastics, and SI Corp. He has a global perspective with international experience in Asia and Europe. He is a certified OI Partner Career Management Consultant.
Charlie earned his BSBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western “reserve University, Cleveland Ohio.
