Edward C. Champagne, Ph.D.

Ed is a Senior Managerial Consultant with the West Tennessee Region of OI Partners / Russell Montgomery & Associates (RMA). He provides Executive Coaching and Leadership Development Training for RMA Clients.

He has worked with some of the largest corporations in the world throughout the United States, Europe, Canada, South America, and parts of Asia as well as “Mom and Pop” operations assisting them in their Leadership Development. His successful career in a variety of key positions has made him a sought after speaker and has been published in many professional journals earning him recognition from his peers.

Ed has developed two corporate universities and built management and performance systems for both public and private organizations. For twenty years, he was the Internal Management Consultant for International Paper Company, a Fortune 50 Company.

At the same time, his experience goes beyond the norm to include academic experience as Director of Admissions for the University of Maine and Associate Professorships at a number of Colleges and Universities. He represented the US Naval Academy for Admissions for the States of Maine and Vermont and the Northern sector of New York.

In conjunction with the Boston Consulting Group, the US Navy sent Ed to a multitude of locations to develop both Navy and Marine Corps officers who were being considered for future Command. He spent six years on active duty and retired from the reserve with the rank of Commander.

He completed his undergraduate degree in Business Education and Social Sciences at the University of Maine at Machias, a Master’s degree in Counseling at the University of Southern Maine, a General Electric Fellowship in Group Dynamics at Boston University, the Admissions and Selection Certificate at Harvard, and a PH. D. in Business and Ethics at the University of Minnesota.

He also holds certifications from the Covey Institute, Brian Tracy Systems, Center for Creative Leadership, Blanchard Group, DISC, Atlanta Consulting Group, Boston Consulting Group, Development Dimension International (DDI), and Career Architect.
