Certified Trainer

Jean K. Reynolds, M.Ed.

Jean, a trainer and writer, has over 30 years of editing and training experience. She has developed training events for specific work groups and large, multiple-training-option events for professional groups. Her extensive experience as a trainer and diligent research informs her curriculum development so that learning events are interactive, dynamic, and applicable in the workplace. Jean has worked with groups as diverse as publishing, entertainment, finance, warehousing, and manufacturing.

One of Jean’s favorite quotations is: “It’s hard to live one life and imagine another. But imagination is what’s needed” (Wendell Berry). Therefore, she works diligently with clients to plan training content and learning activities that help learners imagine and discover something new. She knows how to keep learners engaged, discussions interesting, and sessions moving. In-depth content presented through accessible methods—music, games, storytelling, role play, skill practice, and fun—assures high retention and application on the job. She has collaborated with Dr. Bill Halbert, an expert in business relationship building to create training curriculum on mentoring, change, and performance management.

Clients and learners have described Jean’s seminars as relevant, excellent throughout, and practical. Participants leave her workshops with improved competence and confidence. A recent participant in a class on personal productivity said: “Great listener & teacher. She was serious about her subject, but also humorous, light-hearted, & transparent.”

Jean is certified to lead training developed by Development Dimensions International (DDI), achieveglobal, and has participated in advanced training through Langevin Learning.
