Lisa Smith
Lisa has been in the human resources training and organizational development arena since 1991when she began to hone her “people development skills” and created training programs for line staff, front-line supervisors and managers. As a training and organizational development consultant, Lisa’s workshops are characterized as fun, energizing, informative and even humorous. Her entrepreneurial career created a client list to include city and county government, retailers, healthcare organizations and institutions of higher learning, to name a few.
Having assisted in operations management for one of our country’s largest specialty retailers, partnering in the creation of the training / development division for the nations largest privately held mortgage company, and supervising training and organizational development for a Fortune 500 organization, give Lisa a unique perspective. This career track opened the doors to facilitate hundreds of training workshops (including program development and design). Titles include:

Lisa joined Russell Montgomery & Associates in 2000 and she has been one of our lead consultants in providing career transition consulting one-on-one to individuals as well as group workshops for non-exempt and hourly employees. She also excels at delivering employee/ supervisor training.
Lisa credits her success to being able to remove obstacles and break down barriers for those who attend her workshops. This is done by valuing what each participant brings to the table and cheering them on as they discover new tools for enhancing their own performance and improving outcomes. She holds certificates in Leadership Training, Career Tools & Research, Change Management, and “Lead Management” through the William Glasser Institute.
Lisa has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Management from Oakwood College in Huntsville, AL.
