Ron Pokrandt has 39 years experience in human resources and training & development. He recently retired as director of employee relations, from a $1B, Fortune 500 nationwide service company where he created, implemented and re-defined human resource and management functions.
His background and experiences include significant human resource and training positions in multi-location, retail and services companies both in the U. S. and the Middle East. He has published articles in several trade journals on various employee relations topics. Ron is a Six Sigma green belt. He decertified 12 existing union locations and successfully won 10 union organization campaigns; the company has remainded union-free for over 10 years. Ron investigated, responded to governmental agencies, and provided defense for over 65 EEOC charges; with no settlement costs to the company. He created, implemented, and continuously improved the company’s first management development program; graduating over 2500 branch and department managers in high-volume, free-standing locations.

Ron joined the consulting team at Russell Montgomery in early 2006. He has been involved in providing career transition coaching support to RMA candidates as well as actively participating in employee/ supervisor training seminars for our corporate clients.
Ron received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Psychology from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio.
